Dell Valley has been HOT! HOT! this week - Monday’s high was 108
degrees - with Tuesday cooling off to 105 degrees. The usual Fourth of
July rain didn’t come this year — Later on in the week it is predicted to

The Dell City High School Class of 1971 joined together at the
home of Pat and Lavada Lewis this past weekend for their class re-
union. Enjoying a day of visiting and good food were Aaron Lewis,
Terry Nelson, Lindsay Snodgrass, Betty Bullard, Linda Gentry, Ke-
vin Lynch, Mary Ann and Devon Lewis, Jimmy Lutrick, Thomas
Parker.

The Lynch family reunion is this week Arriving from all directions —
Chris, Anne Hansen and children, Marie, Kenneth, Michael and Samuel.
Kevin and children, Leslie and John. Erin, Laura Lynch and Asia, and
Peter Lynch. All of the Jack Lynch family except Kitty and her family
from Brussels, who will be here later this summer. At the James Lynches,
Peggy Hill, James, and Holly Spellman. Bonnie and Linda Lynch: At the
Michael Lynches, Bill, An ne and Elizabeth, Mick and Lauren and James
Anthony. Jerry, Kathleen Murphy and daughter Geraldine Irish from

law, Nan and Tex Lasater, from Tucson, Arizona, over the holiday
weekend.

Allyn Tavarez will celebrate his first birthday, Saturday, July 11th.
He is the son of Della and Martin Tavarez of Dell City. Also cele-
brating birthdays are Adam and Isabel Tavarez. Adam who will be
7, is the son of Danny and Isabel Tavarez. Danny is a Technical
Sargent in the Air Force. He and Isabel have two other children,
Brett, 11 and Sharon, 16. They are visiting family while on vaca-
tion from their home in Ipswich, England.
