N. W. corner of Mitchell County; thence south on West boundary
line of Mitchell County about 3l miles to a point where said
county line intersects south line of Section 4 Blk. 25 H. thence east about 314 miles to the S. E. corner Section
1 of said Blk. 25 H. thence north 1 mile
to the S. W. corner of Section 73, Blk. 97, H.
thence east 1 mile to the S. E. corner of said Sec. 73; thence
north 2 miles to the S. W. corner of Sec. 92 Blk. 97 H. thence east 1 mile to the S. E. corner of said Sec. 92;
thence north 1 mile to the N. E. corner of said Sec. 92; thence
west 1 mile to the N. W. corner of said section; thence north 1
mile to the S. E. corner of Section 109 Blk. 97 H.
thence north 1 mile to the place of beginning containing
about 261/ sq. miles. Containing the following surveys and parts
of surveys:
Sec. 83, 84, 85, 86, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77,
and 78 of Blk. 20 Lavaca Navigation Co.
And parts of Surveys 71, 66, and 59 of said Blk. Sections 1, 2,
3, Blk. 25 H. at which time three trustees,
who shall be resident qualified voters in the said district, as
hereby created, shall be elected and serve as trustees of the said
district in accordance with the provisions of General Law relating
to the term of office, powers and duties of trustees of common
county line school districts.
SEC. 3. The said common county line school district as created
by this Act, shall have and exercise and is hereby vested with all
the rights, powers, privileges and duties of a common county line
school district incorporated under the General Laws of this State,
and the board of trustees of the said district shall have and exercise
all the rights, powers, privileges and duties conferred and
imposed by the General Laws of Texas upon the trustees of such
school districts incorporated under the General Laws of the
State. Jurisdiction over the said district is hereby vested in
Scurry County.
SEC. 4. It is hereby expressly provided that on some future
date to be designated by the county judge of Scurry County, an
election may be called for the purpose of submitting to the quali-
