CREATING THE BOONE COMMON COUNTY-LINE SCHOOL
DISTRICT NO. 9 IN MIDLAND AND GLASSCOCK
COUNTIES.
H. B. No. 500.] CHAPTER 160.
An Act to create the Bocne County Line Common School District No. 9
lying in Midland and Glasscock Counties, Texas, validating all acts of
the board of trustees of said county line district with respect to contracts,
validating all taxes heretofore voted and levied upon the territory
of said district, placing said district under the General Laws of
the State and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. The Boone County Line Common School District
No. 9 comprising territory lying in Midland and Glasscock Counties,
State of Texas, is hereby created'with metes and bounds as
set forth in Section 2 of this Act.
SEC. 2. That the boundaries of said Boone Common County
Line District No. 9 shall be as follows: Beginning on section
line between Sections Nos. 4 and 5, in Block No. 36 Township 3
south, where the line between Midland and Glasscock Counties
intersects said section line; thence north on the section line between
Sections Nos. 5 and 4, in Block 36, Township 3 south, to
the southeast corner of Sections No. 44, Block 36, Township 2
south; thence west along the south line of sections Nos. 44 and
43, Block 36, Township 2 south; and thence west along the south
line of Section No. 4, Block 37, Township 2 south, to the southwest
corner of said Section No. 4, Block 37, Township 2 south;
thence north along the east line of Sections Nos. 2, 1, 60 and 58,
Block 37, Township 2 south, to the northeast corner of Section
No. 58, Block 37, Township 2 south; thence east along the south
line of Sections No. 9, Block No. 37, Township 2 south, to the
southeast corner of said Section No. 9, Block No. 37, Township
2 south; and thence east along the south line of Sections Nos.
19, 20, 21, Block No. 36, Township 2 south, to the southeast corner
of said Section No. 21, Block No. 36, Township 2 south; and
thence east along the south line of Section No. 22, Block No. 36,
Township 2 south, to the point where the line between Midland
and Glasscock Counties intersects the south boundary of said
Section 22, Block 36, Township 2 south. Thence north with the
line between Midland and Glasscock Counties to the point where
the said line intersects the south boundary line of Section No. 15,
Block 36, Township 2 south; thence east between Sections Nos.
22 and 15, Block 36, Township 2 south, to the northeast corner
of Section No. 22, in Block No. 36, Township 2 south; thence east
along the north line of Sections Nos. 23 and 24, in Block 36,
Township 2 south, to the northeast corner of Section No. 24,
Block No. 36, Township 2 south; thence southward along the east
line of Sections Nos. 24, 25, 36, 37 and 48, in Block No. 36, Township
2 south, to the southeast corner of Section No. 48, Block No.
