cluded:
Three burglary caaes were
worked. Two criminal mischief, one
aggravated assault, and one pro-
hibited weapons cases were dealt
with.
Policemen processed three cases
of drunkenness, three disorderly
conducts and one minor in posses-
sion. Eleven disturbance calls were
also answered.
Seven funeral assists, three school
alarms, and two downtown alarms
required officer assistance.
Ninety-six traffic violations were
cited and three auto accidents were
worked.

A Cherokee County Grand Jury
returned 30 true bill indictments
July 11.
Among those indicted were: Dou-
glas Acker, 36, of Jacksonville,
charged with involuntary man-
slaughter on July 29, 1994; Rocky
Adams, 39, Troup, charged with
burglary of habitation on May 29
and forgery on June 19;BurnsTilton
Boyd, 41, of Jacksonville, charged
with burglary of habitation on June
30; Rayshone Daveyon Filer, 20,
charged with burglary of habitations
on Feb. 6 and two on Jan. 24; Gre-
gory Charles Franklin, 20, of Jack-
sonville, charged with aggravated
robbery on May 27; Allyn Wayne
Henderson, 35, of Bullard, charged
with possession of controlled sub-
stance on April 21; Lawrence
Dewayne James, 35, of Bullard,
charged with possession of controlled
substance on April 21.
Stephen Deevoy Lammert, 22, of
Palestine, charged with DWI subse-
quent on Feb. 4; Guadalupe Lara,
43, of Jacksonville, charged with
indecency with a child on May 28;
Lisa Littlefield, 29, in the Cherokee
County Jail, charged with failure to
appear on April 19.
Michael Sherman Ross, 19, of
Jacksonville, charged with burglary
of habitations on Feb. 6 and two on
Jan. 24; Xerxes Lee Sanders, 48, of
Jackson ville, charged with DWI sub-
sequent on May 21,1994.
Tonya Starr Singleton, 33, of Bull-
ard, charged with possession of con-
trolled substance on March 25;
Doneader Tyler, 28, of Alto, charged
with forgery on June 8; Tawania
Brashell Whitaker, 25, of Jackson-
ville, charged with burglary of habi-
tation on May 28; Lori Jean Will-
iams, 35, of Bullard, charged with
possession of controlled substance
on April 21.
Sealed indictments included forg-
ery on June 19; tampering with gov-
ernment records on April 6, 1992
and Sept. 19, 1991; burglaries of
habitations on Jan. 24, Feb. 6, Jan.
24 and May 29; and fraud on March
24.
