Twenty eight guests enjoyed
the happy occasion. Refresh
meats were served from an at-
tractive table laid with a ruf-
fled net cloth over pink foun
dation. It held lovely arrange
ments of pink rosebuds at the
corners, and was centered with
a container of pink and white
gladioli and Queen Anne's lace.
Pot plants made a pleasing
background for the table.
A variety of sandwiches, var-
ied condiments, cookies, party
tid bits, coffee, punch and cake

Mrs. M. W. Lem of Houston,
organist, and aunt of the bride,
presented a prelude of tradi-
tional nuptial music and accom-
panied Miss Judy Sales who
sang "Always", "Whither Thou
Cioest" and following the ex-
change of vows, "The Lbrd's
Prayer." During the ceremony
soft music from the organ add-
ed to the beauty and solemnity
of the occasion.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, was accompanied
to the altar by her brother,
Mark. She presented a lovely
picture in her wedding gown,
base was a miniature bride and
groom of bisque. The four tiered
white wedding cake, made by
the bride's grandmother, Mrs.
Holbrook, was decorated withj
orchids, bells and roses. It was i
topped with a white orchid. The
crystal punch bowl was dec
orated at the base with pink j
rosebuds and English ivy. The |
hall was attractively decorated
in the bridal motif, with clus
ters of white wedding bells tied ;
with pink ribbons, and pink
rosebud trees in decorative con-
tainers were placed at vantage
points throughout the reception
rooms.
