he completes his technical training

The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Alvin Ledoux of 230
Claxton Courts, and the bride-
groom It ton of Mr. and Mrs.
W. T. Barnes, 800 Irving St., West
Orange.
Rev. Fred J. Foster, pastor,
conducted 'the double ring rites be.-/
fore an altar flanked by arrange-
ments of white shasta daisies.

delabra on either side of the al-

Traditional wedding music was
provided by Mrs. Tommie Jean
Feuge, organist, ind Arthur T,

Navy Officers Wives
Take Tugboat Ride
Instead of their tegular month-
ly' luncheon meeting, the Navy Of-
ficers Wives Club Wednesday went
for 4 ride on a tugboat along- the
Gablne River, carrying along box
lunches.
Twenty-six members went along
on the boat ride for which Mrs.
L. L. Wood and. Mrs, C. G. Schmidt
were hostesses. Mrs, R. H. Le
seene Is the club's publicity chair-
man. \
Given in marriage by/her step-
father,. the bride was/gowned in.
a floor-length dress of candlelight
taffeta. The slender bodice was
designed with a yolk of chantilly
lace, round neckline and bracelet-
length lace/sleeves. The full,
gathered circular skirt extended
into a chapel-length train.
A small hat of white satin held
her chapel-length veil of illusion, j
The bride carried a bouquet of
white carnations on a White Bible
Deloris Greer was maid of hon-
or and Sherry Matthis was flower
girl.
With the exception of the length,
dresses worn by the maid of hon-
or and the flower girl were identi-
cal. They were made of blue nylon
net over matching blue taffeta.
James Bingham was best man
and the usher,* were R, C Slocum
and Rudy Taylor.
For her daughter'* Wedding,
Mrs. Ledoux chose a navy blue
suit complimented with bone ac-
cessories. Mrs. Barnes wore a i
gray dress with black accessories. ¡
A white cloth covered the bride s j
table for the reception held in the
church hall following the wedding. ,

ton served punch and cake. Mrs.

When the couple left forGálves-
ton, the bride wore a light blue
suit. They were to go to Monroe, j
City before returning to Orange.
The couple will make their home
