After a wedding trip to an un !
disclosed destination, the couple
will be at home in Austin. Tex.
The double ring ceremony was
performed by the bride's father.
She was given in marriage by hrr
brother, Johnnie Frank Davis Jr
The chtirch altar was' decorated
in white fórthe ceremony and was
banked by arrangements of pink
and white gladioli. Wedding music
was provided by Pearl Miller
and Charlotte Casey who sang
"Because,!' "The .Lord'* Praye*,"
and "I Love You Truly."
'The bride was attired in a walt7-
Icngth gown óf lace and tulle. It j
featured a fitted bodice of lace, a:
rounded neckline, and long sleeves:
ending in petal points over the
wrists. The bodice came to a
point at the front waistline and
joined ,a full tulle skirt with cir-
cular rows of lace.
Her finger-tip veil of illusion
was held by a crown embroidered
with seed pearls and sequins. The
bride carried a bouquet-of pink
rosebuds atop a white Bible. Her
only jewelry was a single strand
of pearls.
Anna Lois Davis was maid of
honor and Mrs. Aline Timmons
was matron of honor. They were
both attired in pale green gowns
Of brocaded taffeta with bell
shaped skirts and half hats of the
samé material as their gowns.
Howard Bass served as best
man. and ushers were David
Davis, Charles Davis and Free-
man Davis.
The bride's mother was attired
ii; a blue silk'dress for the oc-
casion.
Immediately after the wedding,
a reception was held in the home
o( the bride's parents. The serv-
ing table was covered wijh 'a lace
cloth and w a - enhanced with the
bride's bouquet. The three-tiered
white cake was topped with a
miniature bride and bridegroom.
I.aVern and LaVell Werner pre-
sided at the serving table. Guests
were registered by Molly Wilker-
son.
For the wedding trip, the bride
cl.'ose a green shantung sheath
with matching jacket and bone
accessories.
