Gray county is erecting a new
cDurt house.
The Eaptist Association will con-
vene at Miami July 25 and 26.
Stratford citizens are having
trouble with hogs running at large.
Lee & Company, bankers of
Miami, have increased their capital
stock from $25,000 to $75,000.
In the baseball game on the 18th
between Canadian and Miami, the
latter won by a score of 17 to 22.
Mr. Rollins, who resides near
Clarendon, reports that he will have
an 80-buchel-to-the-acre yield of
oats.
At Wichita Falls, July 11, Mylor
Estep shot and killed Lo'uis Steven-
son. The latter had slandered the
former's wife.
The Bowie band has been mus-

Dalhart is to have another news-
piper—the Dallam County News.
J. G. Greaves and Andrew Wheeler

district at the convention held at
Childress July 11.
