that Mr. Harrison's nomiiiatioii will bo

uml throe Republicans agreed with

iroumstanees is not known. Homo

Wasiiino'ion .bm. 8. South Texas
has boon involved in a great deal of
trouble coiibeipiout upon the action of
tlio rocont cattlemen's (piarantino con-
vention at Kansas City. The resolutions
passed by that convention as to tlio cat-
tle (luarantitio hue include two orthroo
Texas counties heretofore known to bo
of such high altitude as to ho entirely
free from Texas fever.
Heprosontativo I'aschnl spent some
time at tlio agricultural dopartmont in
going over tho recent ordors of tho bee-
rotary which violate tho Kansas City
resolutions. Ho discovered that Brow-
liter county in Texas had been by mis-
take included in tlio order of tho secre-
tary and orders were at once issued
placing it within tho safe line.
Mr. Paschal presented pi-tiiions also
from Undid county which has always
heretofore been above the unsafo dis-
trict and which it is claimed has al-
ways been entirely froo from tho dread
infection.
