stepping down as McMurry's
Athletic Director a post he
has held for the past eleven
years to become Assistant to
the Vice President for Dc-

jects. Kimbrell will continue as
head basketball coach how-
ever a position in which he
haB a long history of success.
Kimbrell's new responsibil
ity will be to mine funds to be
used in athletic and physical
education projects espe-
cially in regard to improving
facilities.
Kimbrell takes over his
new position effective June
1st. His first concern will be
improving the lighting at In-
dian stadium so the football
team can play night games
early in the season when the
weather is very hot for after-
noon gomes.

The First Annual AEX
Domino Tournament will be
held Thursday evening in
the Snack Bar of the United
Methodist Campus Center
beginning at 6 p.m. accord-
ing to director Bruce
Laccflcld.
The domino turkey will be
a doubles format with an
entry fee of $2 per team.
Teams advance in the best of
three series.
Prizes will be awarded to
the top two teams.
Participants can sign up at
the information desk in the
CampuB Center or just prior
to the beginning of the tour-
ney Thursday evening.
The Big Country Bicycle
Club is sponsoring a Neigh-
borhood Bicycle Ride at 2
p.m. Sunday April 13. The
ride will begin at C. W. Gill
Park located behind Crock-
ett Elementary School at
South 12th and South Willis
and will be 5-8 miles in
length according to Gary
Boggett.
McConnell Performs
The public is invited and
any type of bicycle is accep-
table for the Ride Anyone

terpretation student of Billy
Cntchings. From El Paso
Miss McConnell is majoring
in speech and theater has
been active in McMurry
foronsks and has played a
number cf roles including
Aunt Eller in the recent "Ok-
lahoma." Wnkoski is a contempor-
ary West Coast poet widely
praised and often an-
thologized. The program will include
"Second Chance" "My Heart
Has on the Radio All the
Time" "A Child a Wasp and
an Apricot Tree" "Greed"
and "Lady Singer."
Stone Wants
Russian Speaker
Theuter director Kimber-
ley Stone of McMurry Col-
lege is desperately searching
for somebody who Bpcaks
Russian.
Stone needs advice on how
to pronounce all those Rub-
sian names in "The Good
Doctor" which playwright
Neil Simon based on Anton
Chekhov short stories.
"Briana Brooks has
traveled in Russia und she
has been some help" says the
McMurry director. "Still we
have some problems und
may have others we don't
even know about."
Mb. Stone has faced other
problems too in the produc-
tion which goes before the
public April 24-26 in Moody
Center Little Theater of the
Ryan Fine Arts Building.
The traditional theatrical
expression of good luck is
"break a leg" but it was ill
luck for everybody concerned
when actress Alison Tuttle
actually broke a leg.
Tuttle a Bophomore from
Almaogordot broke a leg dur-
ing track workout 'while on
an obstacle course.
Victoria Spangler was
named by Stone to replace
Ms. Tuttle in the cast. Spang-
ler a sophomore theater
major from Kermit.
