interest heightens
The interest in intramurals
shows in the number of
volleyball teams on this year's
roster. The season began
Monday Oct. 27 in the Yellow
Jacket Gym. The women play
on Monday and Wednesday
nights while the men play on
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
There are 10 men and 10
women teams. The men's teams

Jackets with 19 catches for 227

and three quarterback sacks.
Right defensive end Don
Roskopf has had 50 tackles and
three sacks.
Michael Leaks Eric Howard
and Michael Mitchell each have
two interceptions for the Yellow
Jackets.
For Sam Houston quar-
terbacks Arthur Louis and
Binky Ford are both in the top
10 in the IC. Louis is fourth at
20 of 54 six interceptions no
touchdowns and Ford is 23 of 54
one interception and no touch-
downs for 51 yards per game.

Mayo said the Yellow
Jackets came out of their last
game with no injuries.
"Sam Houston has good speed
ant they are better than their
record indicates. We're going to
have to be ready because they
think since we have the same
record they're going to be able
to beat us. Their offensive and
defensive line is not as good as
in the past" said Mayo.

lost 16-0 against Angelo State
University the number one
NAIA team. The game was
scoreless until 1.23 was left in

women have a quad-match at
