RAY W. BONTA was by to see me..
He has been a friend of. W,frL* Miller and
Zelda for years. He Was the first.guest,
in their home after they married and moved
to Austin, where they were in school. After
graduating from ."Texas", Ray went with The
Dallas News---until he made his present con-
nection with G-E. The Bontas have been liv
ing in Chicago, where the Millers saw them
occasionally. Now he is moving to Schenectac
where he will be Supervisor in Advertising >
and Sales Promotion---and boys and girls, •
that’s not janitor.
Ray was quite active in the Methodist ”
Church here fifteen years ago. His mother
was Georgia Withers, a sister of Harry C.
Withers, Editor of.the Pallas News. We

should know better than most people. He will

"PAT" PATTERSON, Whites boro, was down
here for a Goodyear meeting. He was selling
syrup. Some friend gave him the address;
of a fellow in Penn, who makes Maple Syrup.
He ordered a gallon and the guy shipped him
a case, $40.00 c.o.d. Old Pat says"I got it’
all soldi" Pat was Superintendent of School
here before Chester Strickland came.
RAY MESSIER,Jr., writes: "Never had I*
realized how anxious I would be for news of
my friends in Denton." Ray will teach

Mr. and Mrs. TERRANCE FLANAGAN (Peggy *
Kay) are in Texas TJ. He is majoring in Ge-
ology and she in Costume Design, etc.
WE SAT NEXT to a telephone operator,
at the ballgame. She kept on hollerin’,
