ASKED BY ED MILLER about her most inter-
esting experience with Vaughn Monroe’s Band,
Tinker Cunningham said it was - when 'the bus
burned 20 miles out from-Morgantown, W. Va.
Ordered out of the bus, she picked up her bag,
and her camera---and left a valuable coat, and
watched through the window as it burned.
I saw her and Mary Jo Thomas again at Rotary;
and asked them if they got the idea I was try-1
ing to put over in The DOINGS---that I loved
them a lot.....In unison, -they-said, "We kno*v!"
I did not realize that I had made it that plain.
You cannot know them without loving them.
