DAN SEYMOUR of "We the People”, says there is a
proverb in Tibet, tTHe who has a worthy son is
the most-blessed of men.” I wonder what they
would say in Tibet■about.a guy who has one fine
son and five fine sons-in-law. He was speaking
of Lowell Thomas, Jr., who is credited with
saving Lowell Thomas1 life’ when he fell from a
-horse in a mountain gulch and broke a leg.
Junior improvised a stretcher and with the help
of natives, carried his dad to one of the four
doctors in Tibet. Thomas is a brilliant news-
man on radio. ■
THE TRAGEDY: It has been said that "it

wicked, for no one of us will claim that he is

singers at NTSC, will join Vaughn Monroe’s
show on March 3. Looks like Monroe is bent
on having an all-Denton outfit. Tinker Cun-
ningham and Mary Jo Thomas have been with him
three or four years.
