they bore down upon us at there Meetings Here there preacher
was Confounded at Our presance and Could Not preach But red in
St Jhons Apistles bout 2 hours then Dismissed His Meeting We
Wanted him to gave Out Notis that We would preach there at 2
O'Clock he advised the Congrigation to go home and Not here
Us We told the Congrigation there would Be Meeting Or preach-
ing there at 2 O clock and there was a privlage for all that wished
to here Our Meetings was free to all and there Should be liberty
givin for all to Speek that Wished to Or to ask Enny questions for
Information they did Not under Stand For We had no other
Object in Vue Only to Open the Gosple in plain and Simple turms
before the people we wished Not to redicule no Peopple for there
faith and Doctrin But Simply wished to Preach the Doctrin Of
Christ Here the Best Share Of the Congrigation Stopt and herd
Our teaching and instruchion They Could not Say Enny thing
aganst it In the evening we held Meeting at Sister Damrons
Here was Some of the grates testimony from those that had lately
Joined I ever herd and also from Others that was believeing
Here through this Section Of Country the Spirit of Mobbocrity
was Swelling to a annormus hight and previous to this we had Some
wicked threats pronounced Upon Us but as Some Was beleaving
in this Section and the brethern wished not for us to leave Elders
H Duncin Ostler & Moody was in Council at my absence Distance
1o Miles Upon the Subject of leaving they made it a Subject Of
Prayer Upon the Green hills Did Not get in Untill 12 O Clock
at Night laid down and During Sleepe Eld Moody and Ostler536
