29 Upon the 29 Apr I left Sister Damron and returned to Bro
Thomas Box's it rained and the heavens Seemed all blackined in
the West from a tornado that dashed all before it it tore up
treas and dashed the houses and Wagons Untill it Stratened the
wagontier rite out on a New wagon and Cild 9 Persons Namely

May 3 Eld H Duncin and My Self went up to heelstring to Sister

Sun 4 We preach in the Schoolhouse at Heelstring And then went
to Bro Box's that Night
11 Sunday We held Meeting at Brother Whitmore preaching by
Eld H Duncin and Eld Ostler Baptized Mr. Cunningham and Wife
and a niger
25 Sunday Here we Dun Some preaching and finished Up Organ-
izing the branch that Pres. Clapp began Named it the Ellis Co
Branch.
