women's social club at the annual
senior dinner given by the junior
member of the club Thursday
night in the home of Ann Smartt.
Helen wan given an engraved
compact. All senior members were
given Emily Post etiquette books
by the members and gold pencils
by Miss Willie Mae Christopher
sponsor.
Gobbcltes presented the pro-
gram. They took the seniors on a
Journey back to their freshman
year in college giving skits of
the outstanding events In each
one's school life. Poems about the
seniors were read and a rose pre-
sented each senior.

club and Ko Sari men's social
club. He is reporter of the senior
class and is listed in Who's Who.
Harold Fees Rpcech major is
corresponding secretary of the
TIPA. He Is a member of KIVA
men's social club the Press club
the Life Service Band the Mc-
Murry Christian Foundation Al-
pha Psi Omega and McMurry
Theater. In 1947 he was business
manager of the "Totem."
Elda Jean Littlepage sopho-
more journalism student is re-
cording secretary of the TIPA.

Seniors with Party
Members of tho junior class
entertained the senior class with
a formal party in Iris Graham
Memorial dining hall Monday
April 20.
Donald Loyd president of the
Junior class welcomed the seniors
and then Hubert Carson was in
charge of the remainder of the
program. Natalie Walton sang
"The False Prophet" followed by
Janice Jones who gave two read-
ings "Ain't Education Grand" and
"Dutch Philosophy." Carol Allen
sang "My Love's an Arbutus."
Hubert Carson announced that the
class had tried to get several fa-
mous speakers for the occasion
but all had other plans for that
date. He said that they were for-
tunate however. In securing for
the occasion Ray Lee Hart who
gave one of his famous sermons on
"Old Mother Hubbard." He was
followed by Oeorge Small who
gave a satirical prologue to Ray's
sermon.
Alva Shirley and Natalie Walton
served punch at the refreshment
tables. Piano music throughout the
evening was furnished by Mrs. Bill
Ward and Bill Martin.

ment for the banquet.

The twelfth annual banquet of the
Ko Sari men's social club was
held Saturday night April 24 in
the ballroom of the Windsor hotel.
Tho knights nnd their Indies
entered the room by crossing a
drawbridge. The traditional castle
theme was carried out in decora-
tions. Black and silver topped with
red roses decorated the tables.
Favors were silver bon bon dishes
with "Ko Sari Mft" engraved on
them.
Hubert Carson welcomed the
guests nnd Hugh Longlno present-
ed (he new officers of Ko Sari.
Richard Elliott Is the new Grand
Sovereign; Joe Gates Chancellor;
Wendell Toolcy Scribe; Hoyt Cole
Chancellor of the Exchequer; Har-
old Bochning Sergennt-nt-Arms;
and Howard Graham secretary.
The program was presented by
