About the Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site

The Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site has provided a collection of photographs and artwork from the Rayburn family's personal collection. The mission of the Sam Rayburn House Museum is to increase local, regional and national awareness of Sam Rayburn's life and career as a United States Congressman through the preservation and interpretation of the historic site. Site collections, outbuildings, historic vehicles and agricultural activities tell the story of Sam Rayburn and his family through exhibits, guided tours of the historic house museum and interpretive programming.

Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site strives to serve scholars, lifelong learners, school children and the residents of Fannin County. Their collection consists of photos of the Rayburn family, as well as artwork from the Rayburn's personal collection.
