Museum of the Big Bend
Founded in 1926, the museum is a department of Sul Ross State University in Alpine and contains more than 25,000 objects from prehistoric to contemporary times. For more than 70 years, they've collected and exhibited artifacts that relate to the Big Bend region, its history (and prehistory), and its natural and cultural diversity.
