Underneath this, "South Hays County" is written in dark blue. A circular red border contains "Rural Fire Prevention District," which is wrapped around a central image of a white fire helmet, ladder, hatchet, pike, and nozzle on a red background. A six pointed Star of Life appears on the bottom of the patch.
