day. Everybody is very busy.
Mr. Ocip Skinner of Dallas is visit-
ing his brother Mr. Claud Skinner
and family and his sister Mrs. Tom
Colvin.
Mr. and Mrs. Guy Claxton and son
M. G. spent Saturday night with Mr.
and Mrs. Jesse McRae and son
James Eldon of Bonham.
Mr. and Mrs. John Friday of Cres-
cent, Okla., are visiting his brothel
Mr. Sam Friday.
Miss Dean Claxton spent the
week end with Miss Lometa Gris-
ham of Clutter Point.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Moore and
Peggy Ann and Mr. and Mrs. Alton
Moore and Joe Downel spent Sun-
day afternoon with their parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Moore.-
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Babers and
son Macky Don visited her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Don Woodson.
Mr. and Mrs. Guy Claxton and
Dean were in Wolfe City Saturday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Punk Ward and fam-
ily and Tom Eads spent Sunday in
Dallas.
Mr. and Mrs. Weir of Dallas visit-
ed her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Col-
vin over the week end.
Reed Carder of Bonham spent the
week end with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Wesley Carder.
James Eldon McRae of Bonham
and Peggy Jane Malone are visiting
their Aunt Mrs. Guy Claxton this
week.
Mrs. Jesse McRae of Bonham is
visiting her sister, Mrs. Guy Clax-
ton.
Mr. and Mrs. John Friday of Cres-
cent, Okla., and Mrs. Josephime
Walker called on Mr. Sam Porter
and daughter Ella Sunday afternoon.
Bonham is to have a circus Octo-
ber 8.

Fannin County—Greeting:
YOU ARE HEREBY COMMAND-
ED, That you summon iby making
Publication of this Citation in some
newspaper published in the County of
Fannin, one in eiacih week for four
consecutive weeks previous to the re-
turn day hereof, Jack Swearingen
whose residence is unknown, to be
and appear before the Hon. District
Court, at tlhe next regular term
thereof, to be holden in the County
of Fannin on the 25th day of Octo-
ber, 1937, at the Court House there-
of in the City of Bonham, then and
there to answer a petition filed in
said Court, on the 26th day of April
A. D. 1937, in a suit numbered on
the docket of said Cornet No. 13091,
wherein Nathan Huff, individually,
and as next friend for Sidney Huff,
minor, George Huff, Lottie Keeton,
Roy Keeton, Will Huff, Mary Huff
Farris, Buck Harris, Auiben Swear-
ingen, Vassie Bullington, Carl Bull-
ington are plaintiffs and Jack Swear-
ingen and V. C. Wilson, Administra-
tor of the estates of R. H. Huff, de-
ceased, and Georgia Huff, deceased,
are defendants.
The nature of the plaintiffs de-
mand being as follows, to wit:
Being a suit for the partition of
certain real estate, plaintiffs alleging
that plaintiffs and defendants, with
exception of V. C. Wilson, Adminis-
trator, are owners in fee simple of 7
tracts of land situated in Fannin
County, Texas, the first two tracts
being in the town of Gober, a part of
the R. M. Williams Survey, being
same land described in deed from J.
T. Keene and wife to Geoi'gia Huff,
of record in Book 151, Page 632,
Fannin County Deed Records; Tract
No. 3 being 36 acres of the Sarah
Polly Survey about 8 miles N. W.
from Bonham, described in deed of
record in Book 155, Page 522, Fannin
County Deed Records; Tract No. 4
being 20 acres of Sarah Polly Survey,
Tract No. 5 being 5 acres of Sarah
Polly Purvey, Tract No. 6 being 5
acres of Sarah Polly Survey, and
Tract No. 7 being 11% acres of Polly
Survey, being described in deed of
record in Book 154, Page 128, Fan-
nin County Deed Records. That the
72 acres is of the reasonable value
of $1000 and the two tracts in Gober
of the reasonable value of $150.00.
That said land is owned by the
parties to the suit in the following
proportions: Mary Huff Farris, Will
Huff, George Huff, Vassie Bulling-
ton, each 6-84; Lottie Keeton, Auben
Swearingen, Jack Swearingen, each
2-84; Nathan Huff and Sidney Huff,
each 27-84 That V. iC. Wilson, Ad-
ministrator, is claiming an interest in
each of said tracts, said land being
the homestead of R. H. Huff at the
time of his death. That R. H. Huff
died intestate January 17, 1936,
leaving surviving ihim his wife, Georg-
ia Huff and the above named owners
of said real estate; that Georgia Huff
died intestate March 12, 1937, sur-
vived by her two children, Nathan
Huff and ‘Sidney Huff.
That said property is not suscepti-
ble of partition in kind and descended
free of debt. That plaintiffs desire
a Receiver appointed and said
lands sold for partition purposes.
Plaintiffs pray that they have
judgement for the title and posses-
sion of said real estate as the owners
thereof as set out above, as against
the Administrator, that a Receiver be
appointed and said land sold for par-
tition and proceeds divided, for costs
of suit and general relief.
HEREIN FAIL NOT, And have you
before said Court, on the said first
day of the next term thereof, this
Writ with your endorsement thereon,
showing how you have executed the
same.
Given under my hand and seal of
said Court, at office in Bonham this,
the 18th day of August A. D. 1937.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of
the First District will hold their an-
nual meeting in Sherman Sunday.

ham is District Commander. Dinner

at noon. All veterans are invited to

Miss Ollie Jo Bowen leaves today
for Athens, Texas, where she will
teach school again this year.

This week finds us having some
sunshiny weather which is good on
people gathering their cotton. We
have had several nice ralins which
will be good on fall gardens.
Mrs. Riley Williams, Mrs. Mac
Hues and T. N. Crawelv are all
reported sick. Hope for them a
speedy recovery.
Mr. Guy Bryant and family visit-
ed Emmett Sudderth and family
Sunday.
Mrs. Dee Ivey and little daughter
Mamie Jo spent 'Saturday with Mrs.
P. M. Hartwell.
Mrs. Bell Copeland of DeKalb is
spending a few days with Mr. and
Mrs. Arch Ivey and picking cotton.
Grady Hartwell spent Saturday
night with his cousin Margret Ivey.
Mrs. Minnie Ross was a guest oi
Mrs. Arch Ivey Wednesday night.
Little Bettie Jean Dice has been
sjck the past week also Mrs. Lettie
Hartwell.
Mrs. Douglas Sudderth called on
Mrs. Riley Williams Friday afternoon.
Mr. Mac Hues has returned home
from Kentucky last week where he
has been for several months. He re-
ports crops fine out there.
Everyone is so busy in the fields
the writer don’t know much news to
write so will come again soon.

the Old Age Pension, at Dallas in

making publication of this Citation
once in each week for four successive
weeks previous to the return day
hereof, in some newspaper published
in your County, if there be a news-
paper published therein, but if not,
then in the nearest County where a
newspaper is published, to appear at
the next regular term of the District
Court of Fannin County, to be hold-
en at the Court House thereof, in
Bonham, on the 4th, Monday in
October A. D. 1937, the same being
the 25th, day of October A. D. 1937,
then and there to answer a petition
filed in said Court on the 25th day
of August A. D. 1937, in a suit num-
bered on the docket of said Court as
No. 13164, wherein L. N. Hyman is
Plaintiff, and Edith Hyman is Defen-
dant, and said petition alleging that
plaintiff and defendant were married
on the 22 day of September A. D.
1930 and lived together until October
7, 1932 at which time defendant
left plaintiff’s bed and board with-
out cause and with the ' intention of
permanently abandoning plaintiff
and has not lived with him* sBice^
