East Meets West For
Food Fun and Frolic
Saturday afternoon at the Abilene
State Park over one hundred mem-
brs of the West Coast and East-of-Mississippi
clubs held their first an-
nual fellowship meeting. The pur-
pose of the meeting according to
western piexy Bill Fling was to
have a good time and make Texons
jealous.
A softball game was playd be-
tween the two clubs from which the
Eastei ners emerged triumphant
Other games were later played and
songs were sung
The function was arranged by var-
ious membeis of each club including
Paikei Henderson of the Big Muddy
and Bill Fling. Joyce Lindsey and
Joy Boutwell were in charge of food
and lefreshments
