Tommie Lucile Andrews.
Our little city was wrapped in
gloom last Friday morning when
jit became known that Lucile
Andrews was dead. So fresh, so
young with the rose tint of
health but a few weeks before.
Lucile fell a victim to typhoid
fever about six weeks ago, awl
the Star of Ffope shone brightly
for her, until the last week of her
life, when all that a kind physi-
cian, trained nurse and loving
relatives and friends could do.
was done to allny her pain and
cool the fevered brow. Her
| young spirit clung to this life by
a tender thread, until Friday
morning at ten o’clock a voice
galled her. It was the voice of
our God calling her
Unto that school
Where she no longer needs our poor pro-
tection.
Whore God alone doth rule.-
Lucile was bright beyond her
years and made many friends by
her winning ways and charm-
Long will her
face be missed upon the street*
ot our little city. Words of com-
fort art but an empty sound to
the heart-broken loved one*.
Nothing but time, and time
alone, can heal the wound.
Look above heart-broken loved ones
