Is the H-SO football team
superstitious?
The Cowboy football team
wore gold jerseys during the
Tempe game result a 7-27
defeat.
At Tulsa gold jerseys were
again seen on the Pokes
result a 20-54 defeat.
Back home on their own
stomping grounds the Pokes
switched to purple jerseys
against the Trinity Tigers
result a 34-7 win.
In Wichita Falls against
Midwestern the crowd saw
the Cowboys in purple jer-
seys again result a 33-7
victory.
Purple jerseys again were
donned by the Cowpunchers
against the North Texas State
Eagles result a 28-13 win.
Spectators in Tucson last
week watched the Cowboys
appear on the field in GOLD
jerseys result a 12-13 loss.
Thus in six games the
Cowboys lost three games
while . wearing gold jerseys
and won three games dressed
in purple perseys.
So their four remaining
games of the season the
Cowboys will wear PURPLE
jerseys. Gold has somehow
lost its beauty to the Poke
team! The gold jerseys are
stored far back in the Cow-
boy locker room now.
