Round Up Published
By Cheer Leaders
For the benefit of the freshmen
sophomores juniors seniors and the
faculty members the yell leaders
OthO Polk leader Dewltt Black and
Gerald Williams assistants will put
out the "Round Up" a book which
will appear sometime next week con-
taining the college yells collego songs
the complete Texas Conference sched-
ule and tho Simmons football sched-
ule. According to Otho Polk all students
will find it a very valuable book full
of peppy infdrmation. Tho books will
be distributed by the cheer leaders
and will bo sold for ten cents.
In view of tho 'fact that somo of
the students may not think it .wise' to
buy the book a word of explanation
will bo given.
This year the yells are .to bo num
bered and the cheering section will
have to learn the yell and its respec-
tive number. This has been .done to
avoid confusion however unless the
"Round'Up" is' bought and studied tho
result .will be yell leaders calling out
numbers and the. rooting section re-
taliating with different yells then
the yell leaders and the cheering
section will be a laughing stock for
getting mixed up. In order to avoid
such a result the yell leaders urge
that every student get a "Round Up."
