Spring may be the budding
of trees a gradual warming
and even cleaning season for
some but at Howard Payne
University Spring is the pri-
mary season for prospective
students.
As May graduation looms
ahead for high school seniors
the college search intensifies.
Stinger Daze March 2-4
seeks to catch the attention
of many of these seniors as
well as high school juniors and
underclassmen interested in
Howard Payne.

Tennessee Williams'
landmark "Suddenly
Last Summer" will
be presented by the
drama department
March 2-5 at the HPU
Theatre.
This is the most
autobiographical of all
of Williams' work and
closely parallels his
relationship with his
sister and his moth-

Summer" is about truth
and falsehood about

Howard Payne.
Megan Donnely Howard
Payne freshman said "During
Stinger Daze I fell in love with
the people of Howard Payne.
The performances at Spring
Sing were also really good and
I just felt an excitement about
coming here."
Megan isn't the only one who
claims Stinger Daze was piv-
otal in her college choice
"Stinger Daze was a big fac-
tor in my decision" said fresh-
man Heather Hieshetter. "It
was down to two colleges but
Stinger Daze let me have a first
hand experience with the atmo-

The cost for Stinger Daze is
$25 and includes a parent and
student question and answer
forum.
