Do you have March
Madness? If you do then the
Hoop Fest 2002 is your remedy.
The city wide 3-on-3 bas-
ketball tournament will be held
March 22-23 in the Elliston-
Cassle Wellness Center at Howard
Payne University. Cash prizes will
be awarded to the top three win-
ning teams.
Hoop Fest is sponsored by
HPU's public relations organiza-
tion Public Relations Student
Society of America (PRSSA).
PRSSA's Hoop Fest 2002

nity to have hands on experience
with public relations" said
Blevins. "One reason we are hav-
ing this event is to bring the com-
munity on campus and show what
Howard Payne is all about."
Proceeds from the tourna-
ment will allow PRSSA to partici-
pate in national and regional activ-
ities. The PRSSA members were
in charge of all the advertising and
public relations involved with the
tournament. They created all the
flyers and radio advertisements.
The members are receiving good
experience in public relations that
will help them compete at a col-
lege level and in the business
world.
PRSSA is a student organi-
zation that enhances the members'
knowledge of public relations and
provides access to other profes-
sionals. For a college to have a chap-
ter of the PRSSA they have to
have an accredited program in
public relations.
Registration forms and offi-
cial tournament rules are available
at Weakley-Watson Hardware
Store located at 100 Woodson St.

Tom Mosley director of
leadership and ministries at HPU

Giglio coming to HPU.
"I have asked him every year
and finally this year he was able to
adjust his schedule. Louie has a

reach university students and chal-
lenge them to make God the prior-
ity of their heart and life" said
Mosley.
"Louie has a God-given
gift of communication" Mosley
added. HPU students who have
