Many Members of the Senate ware
perplexed as to how they should
vote oa the R-rated ban because
their personal fteUap oa the gutter
contradicted with feedback they had
received from students. Hence only
about half the Senators voted.
Tod Brown senior Bible najor
from Midland said the Students'
Association "needs to take a stand
and say that this is a Christian uni-
versity." We coukkVt agree more.
From time to time some students
may want to see a particular asovie
that has received an R rating rram
the MPA because it has a few nude
scenes or the storyline k vieWat.
That's OK. Those students can go
to a theater off campus to view that
film.

A story appeared k the ecu week's

The bask message of the ktter was that
the university's procedures for handling
student complaints left something to be
desked. The essence bekg "If no one
knows what goes on behind closed
doors bow are we to know if a student
k bekg treated fairly?"
I agreed wkh the point hk ktter at-
tempted to make but I bad to take ex-
ceptioa to one particular paragraph.
The assumption was made k thk
paragraph that the student under direc-
tion of a member of the board of trust-

vital to hk case. However the trustee
told me otherwise. He said the stu-

Wkh takkmkd Ithought the let-
