Description

Photograph of a two-story, white stone and wood house with a balcony across the whole second story, which is supported by thin columns on the front porch below. Another building of similar color and size is visible behind the house, to the right, while a dark sedan is parked to the front right of the house. Bushes surround the front porch railing, while several wooden benches sit out front. To the right of the house and slightly behind it is an old windmill, and to the front left, shaded by some large trees, is a small, square, glass structure with a hexagonal gazebo roof. On the front porch are other wood benches, wood chairs, plants, a shelf with University of Texas paraphernalia, and a life-size cardboard cutout of John Wayne. Handwritten notes on the back of the photograph give information about the house, such as when it was rebuilt in the 1990s, and its original location in Lampasas, Texas.
