EARLY DAY" Proclamation
WHEREAS The United Stat-
es Postal Service in its continu-
ing efforts to provide the finest
of mail service to the citizens
iof Bartlett 'has urged that hol-
iday cards and parcels be mailed
as early as possible this year;
and
WHEREAS to this end. Bart-
lett postal employees will set an
example for 'all citizens by parti-
cipating in Bartlett Postal Fam-
ily Mail-Early Day on Thursday
December 9 197G; and
WHEREAS that day the
Bartlett postal employees and
their spouses and children will
send off their holiday cards and
packages at the Bai'tlett Post
Office.
WHEREAS the day will be
an appropriate occasion for re-
cognition of the vital responsi-
bilities assigned to the mail ser
vice and a valid time to take
stock of the holiday mail chal
lenge which must be met jointly
by postal people and the millions
of citizens throughout the coun-
try who depend upon the mail
as an essential part of their
lives.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Lone Star Gas Company in accordance with Sec-
tion 43(a) of Article 1446c V.A.T.C.S. hereby gives
notice of the Company's intent to implement a new
schedule of rates for natural gas service to be charged to
the industrial consumers in the City of Bartlett Texas
effective December 30 1976.
It is anticipated that the increased cost of service
under Schedule of Industrial Rates-N Rate Schedule For
Public Free Schools-N and Schedule For Industrial Rates-
N for Agencies of the State or Federal Government will
result in $21. additional annual revenue to Lone Star Gas
Company in the City of Bartlett.
A Statement of Intent has been filed with the City
of Bartlett and is available for inspection at the Com-
pany's business office located at 406 Talbot Taylor
Texas.
