Bartlett is serving aboard
the cruiser US Saint Paul off
the coast of Vietnam.
His ship on its fourth de-
ployment to the Vietnam wa-
ters patrols the coastline
ready to answer all calls for
fire support from Navy and
Marino spotters stationed
ashore.
As a crewmomber he will
bo responsible for perform-
ing his regularly assigned
duties aboard the Saint Paul.

on a big new summer season.
ASTROWORLD opens this
second season with an addi-
tional million dollars worth of
adventures attractions and
shows.
The most popular addition
is expected to be the Bamboo
Shoot a "wet wild and won
derful' adventure through a
surging water flume. The
1500-foot Bamboo Shoot car-
ries passengers at speeds up to
30 miles an hour. There are 25
boats (bamboo shoots) with

COMING TO WACO James T. West of the weekly
CBS television series "The Wild Wild West" will be
the guest star for the 1969 Heart O' Texas Fair and
Rodeo. Dates are September 30 - October 5. West whose
real name is Robert Conrad has been in such T.V. wes-
terns as "Maverick" "Colt 45" and "Lawman" and in
"77 Sunset Strip" "Kraft Theater" and "Temple Houston".

WORLD this summer.
In addition to the steelband
which will be on a floating
stage in the lagoon opposite
ModVille ASTROWORLD
will have all the regulars
from this spring the March-

circus tent stage in Children's
World the Cyrstal Palace Re-
view the Alpine Band the
Over The Border Brass the
Music Merchants the medi-
cine man show and all the ani-
mal characters.
New this summer will be :
A Banjo Band
A roving comic band
A second troupe in the
Crystal Palace
ASTROWORLD will be open
daily through Labor Day
September 1 from 10 a. m. to
10 p. m. and to 11 n. m. on
Saturdays. Price for adults is
$4.50 aild for children un-
der 12 $3.50. After 6 p. m.
the price is reduced by one
dollar.
