Tho Emma Gross Bible Class
of the Methodist Church held
their Christmas social Tuesday
afternoon at the home of iMiss
Martha Sehrock. Mrs. C. R. Mo
desette !Mrs. Lila Hempel. Mrs.
F. A. Limmer Mrs. Ora Jones
Mrs. J. S. Kuler Mrs. A. F.
Czarowitz Mrs. Mattie Stock-
ton and Miss Ella Bolding were
hostesses.
Mrs. Jones greeted the guests
at the door and Mrs. (Minnie
Knse of San Marcos presented
each guest with a Christmas
corsage or a miniature chenile
monkey lapel pin.
Red roses were used in decor-
ation in the homo along with
traditionnl Christmas decora-
tion The Christmas tree was
decorated with red candles an-
iroM Hnd bolls and was set on a
UWe covered with white taffe-
ta. The Ihmic of the tree was
forwwl with white nylon with
rwl bonier with miniature

Christmas Party
Members of the Schwertner
Lodge of the Junior Sons of
Herman had their nnnual
Christmas party nt the Schwert-
ner Hall Monday night.
Traditional Christmas decor-
ations were used in the hall.
The serving table held a Christ-
mas arrangement including a
Santa Claus and was centered
with a largo green candle.
The group played games
during the evening under the di-
rection of Mrs. J. Frymiro of
iJarrell.
Mothers who served refresh-
ments were Mrs. Herbert Kel-
ler Mrs. Barney Douglas Mrs.
J. A. Gersbach and Mrs. Hu-
bert Wolbrueck. Fifty-six mem-
bers and guests were present.
