Little League Game
The Bartlett Little League
teams ended the season last
Thursday night with the Cards
taking the Red Sox team 6-1
In a game which saw both teams
playing hard for a win.
The Red Sox lone score came
In the fourth Inning when
Charles Douelas walked and
then stole the remaining bases
to come In home. Adrian Moore
got the only hit for the Red
Sox In tho second inning.
Randy Bchwertner started
the scoring for the Cards in the
fourth Inning when he hit a
IomWo with iwr men on. Later
Steven Sartor also hit a double.

Major and Mrs. Billy Clem
ons nre spending a month here
and in Corpus Christl following
their return from a three and
one-half years tour of duty in
Europe.
During their first two and
(ilne-half year3 tour of duty
there. Major Clemohs was sta
tioned m Germany whdre ho
served as Chief of Procurement
Division of Ordnance Procure
ment Center Headquarters. His
duty at that post took him to
all countries in Western Europe
Including Yugoslavia Greece
and Turkey.
His last year there was spent
as Chief of Procurement Cen-
ter Branch Office in Madrid
Spain. He also had charge of
the Procurement sub-offices in
Lisbon Portugal.
Major demons' new assign-j
ment is at Frankfort Arsenal in
Philadelphia Pa. where he will
be chief of the Procurement
Division.
Major Clemons son of Mrs.
L. C. Clemons and the late Mr.
demons has been in service for
nlmost 14 years.

tertained a group of friends
with a chicken barbecue supper
on the lawn of their home Fri-
day evening.
Games of bridge were played
later in the evening. F. C.
Brune Jr. held high score for
the men and Mrs. Ford held
high for tho ladies.
