Honor Roll Named At Mary-Hardin
One hundred and thirty
students from the Central
Texas area were listed on the
Vice-President's honor roll
when it was released this
week for the spring semester
at the University of Mary
Hardin-Baylor.
According to Dr. Kenneth
Johnson Vice President for
Academic Affairs criteria
for making the honor roll is a
3.5 grade point average in a
four point system for the
entire semester and must be
taking a minimum of twelve
hours that semester.
Named to the honor roll

Morris Kathlcne Bunker and
Marilyn Newman.
Named to the honor roll
from Bartlett was Suzanne
Ford.
Ivieic Reunion
The Ivieic family icunion
was held on June 20th at the
Holland SPJST Hall. Some
100 registered for the re-
union. Officers were elected
for the coming ycar.DAR

Boyce Boyett of Houston
gave the invocation before
the basket lunch was served.

Church Hosts Bake Sale
The Little River United
Methodist Church will hold a
two day garage and bake sale
Friday and Saturday June 25
& 26th at the Little River-
Academy Community
Center.
Each day the sale will
begin at 7 a.m. with thou-
sands of items offered at
bargain prices. In addition to
the garage sale all types of
delicious homemade cakes
pics and other bake goods
will be featured.
The public is invited' to trie
sale which is under the
direction of Mrs. Mary Ellen
Valentine. All proceeds from
the sale will go to the
churches capital funds drive
which is being conducted this
summer to raise funds for a
new sanctuary.
Hill Family Has Reunion
Descendants of Henry J.
Hill and Eva Hill held their
4th annual reunion on June 6
at the SPJST Hall near
Holland.

Reunion
The Stroud - Horton family
reunion was held at the
Mother Nerf Park on June
13th. Some 78 guests attended
with ages ranging from 3
years to 88. The oldest guest
was Mrs. A. A. Stroud of
Holland and the youngest
was Shown Muter of Belton.

Antonio Dallas Hillsboro
and surrounding towns.
Haverland secretary con-
ducted the business meeting.
A barbecue dinner was
served at the noon hour.
