Report providing information about the ongoing city planning for Dallas, Texas that started with the Kessler Plan in 1911. This report includes maps and tables showing the existing land uses in Dallas as well as descriptions for each type of land use; one of the maps shows the buildings erected from 1935 to 1939, the other map shows buildings erected from 1940 to 1943. Other sections discuss the existing zone ordinance and the requirements of future land use.
Since 1985, the Archives have kept more than 2,000 cubic feet of materials open to the public by appointment. These materials include departmental documents, manuscripts, maps, photographs, and much more; they document historical events like the Kennedy assassination and Clyde Barrow gang's activities.
