of the Peace iu and for said county that Rufus P. Williams is ab-
6out from the state no that the ordinary proccssof law cannot be served
upon him:
You are therefore hereby commanded to cite by publication in

Austin in said state for three successive weeks before the return day
of this writ Rufus P. Williams to appear before the undersigned
Justice of the Peace at uis office in the city of Austin and coun-
ty aforesaid on the fiist Saturday in December 1S52 to answer the
complaint of James F. Johnson and Morgan C. Hamilton late part
ners under the name and firm of Johnson & Hamilton in an action
of debt founded upon a note for the sum of thirty-eight dollars and
fifty-four cents priucipal and twelve dollars and thirty-two cents in-
terest dated October 27th 1848 executed by said Williams to said
Johnson & Hamilton
