If
In what probably will turn into a knife
fight, or at least into a bar-room brawl, the
Texas Wesleyan Rams will host the McMurry
College Indians tonight at 7:30 in a rematch
of the season's opener last week in Abilene.
ex „ .,
That game was won by the Indians, who
did a pretty neat scalp job on the Rams in a
103-S0 win.
But things could be different tonight in
the first home game for the Rams, as head
coach Al Peters has sworn himself to silence
until the opening loss has been avenged . . .
not really, sports fans.
\\
However, pre-game information indicates
tonight's game could possibly evolve into a real
slugfest. After the Nov. 21 loss to McMurry,
several player-insomniacs held a midnight
Black Mass to ward off all evil spirits.
Indications are that little fundamental fa-
cets of the game could determine the out-
come—"little" things like screening out under
the bucket.

Be that as it may, the game will be played
tonight; and it won't be the last time the team
is at home. Coach Peters has worked up a
schedule (see story, P. 4) to include ten more
home stands and one home tournament—the
Cowtown Tourney, Dec. 8 and 9.
For tonight's match-up, an idalistic goal
has been set—a goal which could be real-
ized. That's to fill the gym—3,000 people.
Sponsors for the game—the Ram Club, the Al-
umni Association, and the TWC Student As-
sociation—have set this as their goal.
All TWC students will be admitted free
when they present their college ID card. Adult
tickets are priced at SI.00 and children will
get in for 50 cents.
So that's th$, stage.
