Mrs. M. L. Cormany 89
mother of G. C. .Cormany of
Bartlett passed away at her
home in Moody Tuesday evening
at 7:45. She had been a resi-
dent .pf tMoody 101770. years and
was known as. the towns most
devoted christian character. .
She was born in Jefferson
Cass County Oct. 17 1851. Her
husband many times mayor of
Moody and builder of the first
waterworks and first cotton gin
there was claimed by death in
1936. .
Besides Mrp and Mrs. Cor-
many and daughter Cherre Lou
those from Bartlett to attend
the funeral services Wednesday

Miss Imogene Heide who for
the past several years has serv-
ed as medical Technogolist in
hospitals in Fort Worth and Pe-
cos and who at present is the
Texas chairman of the. National
Association of Medical Technol-
ogy' has recently been: chosen a
member of t.he. faculty of the
School of Medical Technology .in
St. Louis. She began her work
in that city on February 1st.
Miss Heide is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. H. Heide of Bart
lett and is a graduate of Bart-
lett High School.

Plans were made for the observr
ance of the World Day of Pray-
er on February 9th. This meet-
ing will open at 10:30 at the
Methodist church and lunch will
be served at the noon hour.
