On Saturday, January 26, LaWard
triumphed at Missouri City’s third
annual tournament. Beasley, Addieks,
Sugar Land," Alief, Needville, Deer
Park, Dickinson, Wharton, La Mar-
que, El Campo, Klien, League City,
Galena Park, Missouri City A and B
and LaWard teams participated.
Dur ng the Day ; IglWard played
Missouri City B, El Campo, Dickin-
son, and Missouri City A, respective-
ly, and were victorious in all, thus
winning the champ onsliip. Second
Lolita Annual Basket-
ball Tournament.
The Lolita Annual Basketball
Tournament was held in the Lolita
H gh School Gymnasium Saturday,
January 2(ith under the direction of
Joe Roach, V. A. teacher and acting
couch. Eight teams were entered,
playing a double elimination schedule
which lasted all day Saturday and
leaving the final games for the Sat-
urday night attraction.
