Israel Independence Day will be celebrated in Fort
Worth this Sunday, April 28, at the Dan Danciger Jewish
Community Center. Activities for the entire family,
planned by the youth of the community, will start at 12:30
p.m. and conclude at 4;30 p.m. An Israeli lunch will be
available for 50 cents. The program will include singing,
dancing, films and athletic competitions. A serious
presentation on the solemnity of the occasion will be held
in the gym at 3:30 p.m. Laura Schectman and Steve
Rovinsky are co-chairman. The entire community is
invited to attend.
