There are a lot of great iines
in this film and all three ac-
tors did an excellent job.
Even though 1 found myself
somewhat bored with this
story, the audience response
was great..This movie will
not be on my top ten iist for
1993, but it will still be a hit.

Christ..loved the church and gave Himself for it, that
He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of
water by the word, that He might present it to
Himself a glorious church, not having spot or
wrinkle or any such thing, hut that it should be holy
and without blemish. ” (Ephesians 5:25-27)
The strongest proponent of the church you will ever find is the
Lord Jesus Christ Himself. He loved the church so much He gave the
ultimate sacrifice for it... His own life. In His word we learn from
many different passages that we, too are to have great respect for the
church He has established. The Scriptures encourage us to never
forsake assembling together, to continually fellowship with one
another, love one another, and serve one another. God’s plan has
always been to have a people for Himself in the earth who will be
linked together not only by (heir common salvation, but also by their
covenant love for and commitment to one another.
Let us make sure we do not f:ill into the same trap which has ship
wrecked the faith of so many, who, thinking that they and Jesus had it
all together, and feeling no need for the fellowship of their brothers and
sisters in Christ, gradually grew cold and indifferent to the things of
God and became fruitless and barren in their service to the Lord. As
in all huge families there will be squabbles and misunderstandings from
time to time, but it is worth it to work through the difficulties. Being a
committed part of the church of God is not an option for those who
will call Jesus “Lord.”
