The KukIos completely ousted the
Trinity Titters Saturday afternoon
when the track team won by a 71
to 11 core, and the tennis team de-
feated th- visitors in all six of the
matches that they played.
The meet larti-d about two o’clock

out the afternoon these activities con-
tinued while the other divisions of

other an original on the contest ma-

Last year the winner of the highest
honor received as a prize a scholarship

able mention in the contest last year.

] tests in scholarship as they do in oth-
er things, and so far it has proved
to lie very successful.
Mr. J. X. Brown, of this College,
is a member of the executive commit-
tee of the Texas State Classical As-
sociation which has charge of this
tournament. Mr. Brown and Miss
Dorothy Hahh, teacher of Lutin in the
Demonstration school, will go over to
Dallas Friday to attend the Latin
tournament. They will take with
them several students from the ad-

sented in assembly Tuesday morning
by the eighth and ninth grades of the
Demonstration school.
In the absence of the president of
the Forum, Miss Louise Waggoner,
the Dean of Women, Mi Clark, ix
plained the purpose of the Forum and

The Girls’ Glee Club, under the di-
rection of Mr. Leon Faulcy, will go
to Krum Friday night. April 9. to
give a concert.
The concert will consist of choruses
by the entire Glee Club, and solos,
duets, quartets and readings by in-
dividual members of the club. A mus-
ical skit written by Misses Jimmie
Wilson and Kathleen Honten will he
given in connection with the concert.
The Glee Club will he assisted by
Mrs. Ruth Moyers Snoddy, piunist,
and Mr. Floyd Graham, violinist.
