THE SALVATION ARMY
Is making an appeal for funds with which tocarry on its work in Breckenridge. The good which is accomplished by the Salvation
Army is known of all men not by reason of boastfulness upon the part of the organization but because it touches the daily life of so
many people. The Salvation Army lias proved itself to be essential to our community life.
The sum asked is not large it should be easily raised within the one day. Our part in this tremendous work of the Salvation
Army is the least merely the financial support. The real work is done by the devoted men and women who attend the sick the
halt the lame and the blind who wait upon the afflicted in both body and mind; and restore to the ranks of self-respecting God-
loving citizenship many who would otherwise become dregs and dependents.
