buildings fronting or a6utting on any
paved street or other business streets
in the city of Palostlne to so construct
tho down pipes conveying water from
tho roof of their buildings so that the
water shall bo conveyed down tho wall
and under tbo adjoining sidowalks In
to tho gutter In such a manner as will
not injuro the pavement or streets
Sec 2 If said owners do not so
construct said pipe as abovo specified
when notified to do so by the Street
Superintendent or City Marshal a
penalty of not less than one nor more
than tendollars for each and overy day
after the expiration of ton days from
such notice that such down pipos aro
not properly constructed shall bo
imposed on tho owner thereof
