Mrs Pether Basola at Donkville in
this county celebrated her hundredth
birthday today being still hale and
vigorous for her age Mrs Naputi
was born in Italy on June 1 1810
and had seven children She sur-
vived her husband and six of the
children the last of whom died thir-
teen years ago Being all alone the
old lady came to the United States
thirteen years ago and made her home
with her only surviving daughter
