A JOINT RESOLUTION
For the relief of Msnassah Sevey.
Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the Republic of Texas in Congress assembled, That Manassah Sevey
be, and he is hereby allowed to change his name to that of
William Sevey.

A JOINT RESOLUTION
For the relief of Lee C. Smith.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Republic
of Texas in Congress assembled, That the auditor be, and he
is hereby required to audit the account of Lee C. Smith, for six
months service as captain of cavalry, and also that the usual. allowance
be made him for such soldiers as he may have enlisted, and
that the secretary of war be required to issue in his favor a land
certificate for a corresponding term of service.
