  • Content Description: Two photographs of the house at 128 Matagorda. The top photo shows five children standing on the porch. One boy is standing on the porch railing. The home has a deep front porch supported by columns. Stairs lead up to the porch. There are two tall windows covered by an awning with gingerbread trim. There is also some gingerbread trim on the porch. Part of a tree can be seen on the right and there are some bushes in the front. The bottom photo shows the house from an angle. There are some children in this photo as well, behind a very low rustic fence and trash can. There are two tall windows and one small one. The house is made of wood. The house is located in an area that was redeveloped because of HemisFair '68. Some of the 19th and early 20th century buildings in the area were preserved and others were demolished to make way for the fair.
