presented by grade school Wednes-
day night of last week on the foot-
ball Held under the lights. A «i*e-
elally made Texan Hag was a back-
ground for the atage. Mrs. Glenn
Y. Du via was director, assisted by
the grade faculty. The program:
Port 1: Overture, band; Crown-
ing of May Queen, Fran<>es Key
Maypole dance, sixth and seventh
grades. Second part, Texas Under
Six Flags, French, 1686; Spanish,
16P0; Mexico, 1821; Texas, 1886;
United States, 1845; Confederacy

Coming of Pioneers, flfth grade;
song, girls; quartet, boys; Virginia
reel, boys and girls; Ithythm band,
first and second grades; Farmer in
the Dell, Shoe Makers' dance, Eyes

en; benediction, Rev. Cummins;
recessional, band.
This being the last week of
school this schedule will lie ob-
served: Monday review, Tuesday
and Wednesday final examinations,
Thursday, teachers grade |tapers,
record grades, no school; Friday
students return for report cards
at 1:30.
Seventh grade exercises at 8
o’clock Thursday night In grade
school auditorium, with address by
Superintendent O. M. Stewart
