Jim Wagner’s Now
Offers Outboard
Motor Servicing
A new service, that of servicing
outboard motors, is now being of-
fered at Jim Wagner’s, 2428 Bell-
aire Boulevard, it was announced
this week by Jim Wagner, owner.
In charge of the service will bo
Jim Knapp, nephew of the owner
and an ex-Marine veteran of the
South Pacific. Mr. Knapp recently
went to Minneapolis for training
in the work and will be in charge
of servicing all makes and models
of outboard motors. The firm is
the authorized dealer for Scott-
Atwater motors.

been active in varied civic affairs.
Mr. Gardiner of 4990 Willow,
was mayor of Bellaire for a two-
year term during World War II,
and city councilman in 1941 and
1942 and 1949 and 1950. He was a
member of the Bellaire Charter
Commission, the Tax Equalization
Board, and a past president of the
Bellaire Lions Club. He is associ-
ated with the Union National Bank.
Dr. Glenn E. Davis has lived at
5315 Aspen since last year. He is
a member of the Harris County
Medical Society and has his office
in Bellaire,
Mr. Elkins has lived in Bellaire
a number of years. He is purchas-
ing agent for Magnet Cove Barium
Corporation, 5001 Old Richmond
Road, and has been associated with
the company since 1946.
Mr. Mullen is owner of Mullen’s
Jewelers at 5407 Old Richmond
Road where he has been located for
the past three years.
Everal West, of 5122 Huisaehe, is
mayor of Bellaire, and has served
the city in that capacity since No-
vember, 1949. He is a member of
the Bellaire Lions Club and was a
charter member of the Bellaire
Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Gauerke of 4537 Elm has
been a Bellaire resident for six
years. He recently opened his in-
surance office in the First State
Bank Building. He served on the
city planning board one year and
recently joined the Bellaire Lions
Club.

is institutional representative.
Funds will go toward a scout house
on the church grounds, he said.
