J. C Shipman, district supervisor,
wishes to lnlorm the public that
taking the General Census will not
begin until April and. 1940 at which
time fifty more enumerators will be
put to work in the District. The se-
lection of said additional supervis-
ors will take place about the mlcuiie
of March. Anyone desiring to make
application for a place as enumer-
ator should Just write the Super-
visor to that effect. No formal ap-
plication Is necessary, and no com-
petitive examination will be had
Persons who are not cltiaens of
the United States or who are not at
least twenty-one years of age are
not qualified for such work.
Mr. Hoyd a. Bouidin has re-
quested the Dublin Progress to an-
nounce his qandldacy tor the office
of District Attorney for the 29th
Judicial District
He U M years of age. and has,
been in the active practice of law
for eleven years He recalved his
A. B. degree from Baylor Univer-
sity In IMS. and took hie law work
from Baylor and Harvard. Ha Is
the son of Judge T. T. Bouidin,
and a memBer of the tow firm of
Bouidin Sc Bouidin.
Mr. Bouidin has been County
Attorney of Palo Pinto County
since 1938, and has made an en-
viable record as a prosecutor for
fairness and efficiency.
Mr. Bouidin has felthruUy assist-
ed the District Attorney and the
grand juries In making Investiga-
tion- And he has Assisted the Dis-
trict Attorney in prosecuting the
felony cases In the District Court
of his county.
Due to his training and exper-
ience Mr. Bouidin Is thoroughly
qualified to hold the office of Dis-
trict Attorney.
In asking the people of the 29th
Judicial District for the office of
District Attorney. Mr. Bouidin said:
"All good clUsens know that the
moral tone of their District Is
greatly affected 'by the charac-
ter of the District Attorney they
elect. Therefore. I am sure that the
